Allow access in your system settings or directly in your browser when using Chrome.
We always check to make sure your camera and microphone are working before you start an assessment (learn why we do this here).
If your camera and microphone aren't working, you'll automatically get a pop-up in your browser before you start the assessment.
You can allow camera and microphone access in the settings of your Windows 10 device by following these steps:
- Go to Start > Settings > Privacy.
- Select Camera or Microphone.
- Allow your web browser access to your camera and microphone.
We recommend using the Chrome browser for the best experience (you can download Chrome here). You can easily provide access to your camera and microphone from within the browser.
